This is a review for the pharmacy.
I came here earlier this evening to pick up some insulin needles that I use to inject hormones under my skin on my tummy. When I asked the girl for 29g insulin needles, she looked at me up and down suspiciously and said "Do you have a prescription?" I told her I didn't because the needles weren't for insulin, and she said with a condescending tone that she couldn't sell them to me without a prescription. This is fine and I understand their policy (don't agree with it but understand it) so I responded politely and left, but I really found it rude the way she spoke to me and looked at me because she seemed to be implying that I was going to use them for something illegal simply because they weren't for insulin. People use needles for things other than insulin or heroin, Walgreens!! I understand they don't want junkies going in there to get needles but I am NOT a junkie and don't look like one at all. I did not appreciate the suspicious looks or tone of her voice and found it very unprofessional and insulting.
Again, I understand their policy of "no insulin prescription, no insulin needles" but the suspicious looks were extremely rude, especially to a health freak who doesn't even DRINK, let alone shoot up drugs.
