  • Grocery delivery....NOT! Ordered over 4 days ago for a 1 hour window on Saturday evening, 6-7pm. Should not be busy, right? Driver calls at 6:45 over 20 miles away, was rude and said he cant make it in time window, and asked for cross streets. Tell him cross streets and he doesn't know where that is. Asked for estimated arrival time, he says he doesn't know, doesn't even know where we live in town. And, was extremely upset and mad at us and very rude. Said he was sent out on deiivery run and nobody at Vons knew what they were doing. WTF? Called customer service to cancel, 7-10 day wait to credit our debit card. WTF?!?!?! No, we are calling Wells Fargo to report the charge and get the credit immediately. Screw you, Vons. We like the store, but my wife said she will never shop there again after this experience with delivery. We have used a few times before, and they were late but not rude. But, after this azz delivery driver, we will never, ever use their service again. Highly discourage using Vons grocery delivery. These days, this is not rocket science, but Vons must think its extremely difficult and make it as such. I never post negative things unless it is well deserved. My wife and daughter just returned from a 4 week vacation with no food in our home, and we counted on Vons to deliver. They screwed the pooch and my wife had to order out just to have dinner tonight. Sorry Vons, you are done.
