  • Just returned from our two night stay at the flamingo valentine's day weekend after reading so many bad reviews here. We loved it. Except for parking. Valet was full despite plenty of room on the first three levels of garage. My advice is to check in as early as possible. We found a spot on the top level which had no elevator access. If you find a spot stay there or you will lose it. The lady at check-in was very pleasant. Unfortunately we did not get upgraded into a Go room as I hoped we might at check in. availability was limited ( also presidents day weekend) and I didn't BOOK a Go room, so no big deal. I am a platinum total rewards member and it was nice to use the vip check in, avoid the long line, and check in right away. Room didn't have a fridge but we were provided one at no extra charge. My advice is if you want to be treated like a high Roller act like one. Don't be a cheap bastard don't be rude to the staff. I hate hearing how people think tipping the front desk girl 20 bucks is supposed to get you a presidential suite. Our room was comped for two nights and had a view of Caesars. It was clean, bed was comfy, everything was great. No complaints on the room. But room service stops at 1. The casino itself is alright sized with a great location within walking distance to all other total rewards casinos. Plenty of table games. The food court is what it is and the restaurants/buffets inside did not appeal to us. Walk to the linq for more familiar eateries. I would stay again If we had a suite or mini suite next time.
