Lou's has been in this location for as long as I can remember, however I never gave it a second look as it looks like a hole in the wall. My husband heard that ownership had changed, so he and his buddy went for lunch. OMG, he just wouldn't stop raving about how good the food was.... So, I had him take me for breakfast! Don't tell him, but he was right!! The waitresses are "classics", there's old photos of Las Vegas and kitschy trinkets all over the walls; it's a homey atmosphere. The owners regularly roam the dining area connecting with their customers. Lou's offers both breakfast and lunch during the limited daily hours. They have daily specials, homemade preserves and delicious homemade desserts. The portions are good for the price and the food is delicious! I highly recommend a visit to this Las Vegas classic.
