  • I gave 2 stars because I was satisfied with the car I rented and everything went smoothly... until I returned the car and found out I had almost $150 worth of extra charges that I was not aware of. Yes, I did initial all the places I was asked to initial and yes it was my bad for not looking closely.. but I felt so TRICKED! I didn't know about the loss damage waiver nor did the Budget employee mention it to me. After all, he did ask if I wanted supplemental liability insurance. I'd figured that was the only additional charges I needed to think about and decline. I guess times have changed since I last rented a car. This experience just left a bad taste in my mouth.. this will be my first and last time dealing with Budget. No matter how good the deal may be via Costco.. in the end Budget is not so budget friendly!
