  • Ellis Island CafĂ© is one of Vegas's best kept secrets. A lot of locals dine here and the prices are a steal! In fact, if it wasn't for a local's recommendation, I wouldn't have known about this place. The wait is long during peak times (about 30-45 minutes for a party of 2). BUT you can skip the wait if you chose to dine at the bar. One of their best menu items is their $15 King Cut Prime Rib. You get a large piece of prime beef, slow roasted and served with baked potato, green beans and a side salad or soup. They'll even throw in a side of au jus and sour cream. Not the best steak I've had, but I can't complain. An Elvis impersonator was performing that night. Let's just say that it was very loud at the bar and "Elvis" was making his rounds courting and singing in front of every table. Our server was great. Very prompt and helpful. Unlike the hostess. I hear that the prices go up, so if you plan on stopping by here, it's better sooner than later.
