Short answer: Avoid at all costs. Terrible service and terrible patrons.
Long Answer: I came on a Sunday of Labor Day weekend with three friends. We had (one each) their coffee liquor drinks and stood in an empty space due to there being no tables available, despite most of them being occupied by single patrons. After 5 minutes one of my friends observed that another patron was staring at us. I suggested to not worry about it since we were in a coffee shop atmosphere after all, which is expected to have a level of chatter. That comment resulted in curse-laden verbal abuse from said patron, which we subsequently handled with calm converse. If you'd like absolute silence, please seek out one of the many libraries Carnegie invested in. I reported this abuse to the host, who told us to leave. This is unacceptable behavior. Were we non-paying neer-do-wells this would be reasonable, but the reality was far from that and our treatment was accordingly absurd.
If you love being accosted by asshats with macbooks for saying hello and kicked out by the establishment, please consider spending your hard-earned dollars here. They'll probably throw in arbitrary BDSM for free.
