  • I used to live in NYC and had a friend who worked at curly hair salons - she's the person who taught me how to do my hair. I moved to Pittsburgh in 2012 and went to a few different salons in the Wexford/North Hills area that were recommended by friends here. I was disappointed with every haircut I got because I knew there was better, I just didn't know where it existed in the Pittsburgh area. Found Kelly Elaine and now I know where to go to get my curly hair cut properly. It's quite a drive from where I live too, but well worth it to have a good hair cut. The bottom line, in my opinion, is that everyone with curly hair needs someone who knows what they're doing, and most salon stylists just don't - they haven't been taught. Kelly Elaine DOES know, so go there!
