  • My first experience with this place has so far been awesome. I had an organic Dominican coffee--which was their coffee of the day. I don't know much about coffee, but the barista explained their options very well. Like another reviewer had mentioned, their coffee is awesome. Strong, smooth, and none of the acidity that I find in Starbucks coffee (aficionados please don't groan at the comparison, I am but a lowly noob). Great lighting, outlets, and overall mood. I'll be coming back often to try their espresso drinks and snacks. Another plus--they're not as aggressively Berkley-locavore-EcoGreenWhatever as Phoenix. I'm not saying they're not--but it's refreshing to not have to drink politics along with your coffee. It was one of the main turnoffs with Phoenix. Ooh--and their bathroom is beautiful and spotless.
