  • My friend had a spare coupon for a cut and color for 50 dollars. The stylist cut my hair which was good but when it came to the color she suggested highlights since I had dyed my hair a couple of weeks prior. I had told her at the beginning that I was using a coupon and she said to just hold onto it so she never saw it and I felt like she knew that I wanted to get service listed on that coupon alone. So I trusted her and she came out with the hair and then said it would be extra since I have long hair. Whatever I'm used to it so I agreed since long hair just means more dye. When she was done drying and everything she joked about the stains on my eyes and face from the red highlight dye, "well I hope you're not going out later" but I brushed it off since it wasn't planned to get highlights and didn't look bad. When I proceeded to pay the young girl didn't seem to know how to ring me up or the stylist so the manager I assume came over. The manager was this annoyed looking woman who said, "she still has to pay." Like I wasn't there which was getting me a little concerned. So from my coupon, everything ended up being twice as much. I could understand extra for more dye but the stylist should have saw my coupon when I offered it at the beginning to avoid this misunderstanding. It was also my fault that I trusted her. The manager seemed like it was a hassle to come over and verify the price check out and didn't even greet me. Zero points on the customer service. I ended up tipping the stylist because I'm still mostly happy besides the dye stains on my skin with my hair color. But when a customer is trusting your stylist, they should better listen to the customer instead of assuming or surprising above what is expected for pricing AFTER everything is done. I will definitely never be back here.
