****STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!****
This is by FAR the worst company (any industry) I've ever dealt with!!!!!
The wiring harness of the unit burned out on a Friday night. As you may know, trying to find a company who's office is open on the weekend can be difficult. Unfortunately, Exquisite Air did have a technician available.
The service tech arrived around noon on Saturday. He went up into the attic and showed me pictures of the burned harness. While I was upstairs talking to him he mentioned "We don't carry that wire harness in stock - and it can take 2 to 3 months to get it in". Whoa...right??? 2 - 3 months for a harness??? I went downstairs (w/ technician) and started to explain to my wife that the wire harness could take months to get in. The Technician quickly cut me off stating "No, No, No!!! it's a couple of weeks - not months"...quietly smirking towards me and saying "don't put me in that predicament with your wife".
He then showed me that he put the order for all of the parts, charged me the $55 fee for the inspection and went about his merry way. I called their office first thing Monday morning. The guy I talked to was absolutely useless. No info - when I called later I talked to a lady who seemed (at first) to be a little more informed. She let me know that they were "on it!" but it was an OEM part and there was no way to expedite it.
I called again about 2 days later to see if anything had been done and the lady had turned rude making comments like "sir, I already told you - the part is OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) and it cannot be expedited!!!!" Which is fine, if it were true, but as I work in procurement for an OEM company I know this is absolutely false. There are many ways to have parts expedited. Exquisite Air would not only not call or contact Carrier (the manufacturer) to expedite the part - they told me that they could not even expedite air freight for next day turn. A wire harness which weighs about an ounce!!!They also told me that after the part was in it would take 3 - 5 days to schedule someone else to come in.
After days of calling Exquisite Air and dealing with Warranty and bad customer service reps I was finally able to figure out a way to get another company to come inspect the AC without it costing me a fortune - they came the same day (weekday) - 2 hrs later the AC was running.
It was the Heater portion of the unit which needed the harness. They came in the next day with the OEM harness which Exquisite Air stated "has a 10 - 14 working day lead time and could not be located anywhere in the valley or else we'd have it!" and in less than half an hour they were done with fixing the unit.
I don't want to compromise the integrity of this message by mentioning the amazing AC company which fixed my problem in this message - this is purely to give you my experience and warn you about dealing with this horrible company.
Sorry about the rambling but it was 12 full days without AC in the Arizona summer and people need to know to stay away from this company!!!!
I will add a 5 star review for the AC company which assisted me and my family.
