| - We JUST finished an amazing dinner at Bobby Q tonite. We are in town for a week from Southern CA for a baseball tournament for my son & looked to Yelp for a top BBQ joint in town that we don't have in our neck of the woods. We hit a grand slam choosing Bobby Q. From the minute we sat down, our waiter Tommy (who was fantastic), told us the history of the place, made recommendations for us & was very attentive the entire meal. The cornbread muffins were delicious. We ordered the Q rolls & spinach artichoke cheso dip as appetizers. The Q rolls were AMAZING - highly recommend. The spinach dip was very good, especially when I asked for tortilla chips instead of the bread that comes with it. For our meal we got the big "Hog Meal" I think it was called. You get to choose 2 types of ribs (a full rack), we got a full rack of baby back, 2 types of meats (1 lb), we chose brisket & pulled pork & 3 sides but we chose 4, coleslaw, mac n cheese, fries & roasted corn. BY FAR the best meat was the baby back ribs. The bones were just there for looks cuz that meat FELL OFF THE BONE. They were so good. The pork was tasty too, brisket was our #3 favorite but very tender. The coleslaw is delicious, my son loved the mac n cheese & fries & the corn was smokey yummy tasting too. At the end, when they bring the bill, they bring these SINFUL homemade donuts with the check. OMG!! They were so good. I had to get a second little bagful on the way out. We also bought the sauce they use. They sell it if you loved it. We loved it. Definitely recommend this place. Our waiter Tommy made our experience here awesome. Drinks were good, service good, food good. 5 stars for sure!
