  • This was my first time in Vegas and my first time at Marquee Nightclub. A month or so before we were to arrive in Vegas we already knew that we were coming to Marquee on the Friday night so I contacted a promoter to request that he put myself and 4 girls from our group on the guest list. The rest of our party (10, mostly guys) were getting a table (approx. $600 a bottle x 3) in the Library. We got to the club around 10:45pm and found that there was already a line both for the general admission and for the tables. Surprisingly the guest list line was short and within 10 minutes we were in. Cover was $50 for me but the women were free. As the rest of our group was still waiting in the table line we explored the patio area of the club. Wow! The night before we were at Surrender but this was even better. Cozy outdoor booths with jacuzzi's, lots of greenery and seating, space to walk!, and a good number of bars as well. They even had a few poker tables setup! All in all a great vibe. After about 20 minute our table was let in and we met them in the Library. Smallish space but classy and not overcrowded. The music was just loud enough that you could dance to but also carry a conversation. The table in the Library turned out to be a blessing in disguise because later on in the night when we ventured back to the patio and the main floor it was packed!! Bouncers were at every turn directing the herds of people and getting from the main area to the patio was a nightmare. We did attempt to dance on the main floor but it was so packed that I thought I was going to be crushed. It was like front row at Lollapalooza all over again. After escaping the dance floor and EDM we were happy to have the table in the Library to sit down and relax at. The drinks we bought at the bar were strong and as I found out over the length of the trip is the norm in Vegas. The bartender just kept pouring! At about 3am we got a pleasant surprise when our table server advised us that we could move to one of the booths on the main dance floor. Yes! We walked with her as she led us to a table right on the dance floor! The table next to us was popping humongous bottles of Dom PĂ©rignon. This is Vegas. This table was awesome as we had some private space to dance. Great way to end the night. As we exited the club around 4am we did find Secret Pizza but as the line was so long we decided not to wait.
