My hubby and I both agreed this was our favorite buffet on the strip!
I made a reservation on Opentable for the "VIP" experience. It costs $98 per person which allows you to bypass the lines, unlimited drinks, and a seafood tower with oysters, snails, shrimp, snow crab legs, dunguness crab legs, and a lobster. We went during "brunch" at 1:30 PM where the seafood options were limited and they were still serving breakfast items. All the seafood items on our seafood tower could be found on the buffet besides the lobster. It was so disappointing that the lobster tasted frozen. Fortunately the rest of the seafood was indeed fresh. Honestly I could have done without the drinks and seafood tower but it was nice to pass 30 people in line though!
Other than that the regular buffet items were plenty and delicious.
We liked:
Seafood section (everything was fresh)
Prime rib (very tender!)
Truffle and mushroom pizza
Noodle soup station that includes pho, udon, ramen, and laksa.
Made to order tacos
Bone marrow
Dim sum items
Dessert
The pastas from the Italian section were not very appetizing. Some noodles were undercooked or just tasted like it had been sitting for too long. Same thing with some of the asian items as well.
I heard waiting can be brutal so best to come during off peak hours! We will be back next time we're in Vegas!
