  • Really great place to stay. I stay here +6-7 times a year and work in DT. It is a short trip to the DT core during rush hour (maybe 15-20 mins) and the hotel itself is great value for business travelers. Has FREE internet (good luck getting that DT!), a good size desk and comfortable chair to get stuff done. Beds are comfortable and clean, and although the bathrooms are not in pristine condition, they are definitely clean and well looked after. The odd time I have had an issue the staff have been exceptional at getting it resolved quickly and I appreciate they are proactive at maintaining the rooms by leaving a card asking if there were any issues with the room (the few times over the years I've filled it out, they were resolved by the time I was back in the evening; example). I also have to mention how outstanding one of the managers is. His name is Callum and I recall the first time I stayed I voiced an issue with my room when I was checking out. He was deeply apologetic and asked me to come back once more to give them another shot. 2 months later I was back and he greeted me by name when I ran into him in the lobby (before I checked in!) and said how much he appreciated the opportunity to make good on it being a better experience. In an era where customer service typically comes off as forced, he was incredibly genuine and I feel one of the reasons for the hotel's success. I must say as well that this attitude is reflected in all the staff as well. I will remain a loyal customer and recommend that before writing a poor review for this location, to at least give them the chance to resolve it...maybe even ask for Callum!
