I love Korean fried chicken. Unfortunately, I don't love hanging out at either Yonge & Finch or The Annex, so my opportunities to have Korean fried chicken are few and far between. When I learned that Chimac opened near Bathurst and Queen (closer to where I usually like to hang out), I knew I had to check it out.
I'm usually not a fan of saucy chicken, and I usually opt in for the classic option. However, at Chimac, I implore you to try both the Alfredo Chicken and the Garlic Chicken. They are both incredible, especially the former.
Also, Chimac has those little buttons on the corner of the tables to get the attention of the wait staff, which is one of the best things about eating at a Korean restaurant. You're pretty much guaranteed a good experience with the wait staff, which is essential when your fingers are covered in grease and chicken.
Obviously this isn't something you should be having on a daily basis. But as a treat every so often? Absolutely. Check it out.
