Ok...I'm not from New Orleans or (N'awlins) but I have had authentic creole. Right out of the gate the sweet tea needs work...seriously if this is supposed to be southern you'll need to improve it quite a bit (let this southern boy know if you need some help). The hush puppies came out and I was immediately nervous because they smelled like they were burned, however they were very crisp and perfect consistency on the inside with great flavor along with horseradish sauce. I ordered the cajun combination and everything was great. I'm not going to say that the gumbo is incredible in fact it was a touch bland but it was still passable. The jambalaya was flavorful and was much better than I expected. Now, the pièce de résistance...the étouffée was phenomenal!!! I have been searching for a place that does this right and I have found it! I would not usually give a high rating because of the few inadequacies but the étouffée blasted this place out of the park for me. The service was prompt and friendly and major kudos (maybe small to some but it is that little extra) they packed my leftovers for me. Also, this is the only Cajun joint that I know of that serves it up this good in AZ (seriously I think you 'Trina refuges need to get to work opening up some more worth while joints)!
