  • Uber Taxis provide customers with a unique and interactive interface for ordering taxis and other services, at an affordable rate with above par service. When first joining up with Uber, all that is needed to begin your commute is a valid credit card. In contrast to the ancient structure of most other taxi companies, Uber supports a business model which involves no transaction between the driver and passenger of the vehicles. Everything is done automatically and recorded through the Uber app, which allows you to easily review your history of use. You request a ride, which than is accepted by nearby drivers. You are not only able to track your driver through GPS, but also are shown the name, car, and license plate of the driver that is supposed to be arriving. This provides an extra measure of safety for riders. Uber drivers are for the most part polite, sociable people, with a common goal to get you from point A to B safely. Drivers ask for input on route options as well as are open to making stops at your leisure. There has never been a time where I had an unpleasant Uber driver; the same cannot be said about other taxi companies. Affordability, accessibility, and arrival are the three A's of any transportation company, and Uber ranks in the top tier of all of these categories. Uber also promotes sharing, and allows you to provide friends with codes for free rides or even share your ETA with loved ones or peers. For anyone who still finds themselves stuck in the past with taxi companies, now would be an excellent time to make the switch to Uber.
