  • As I lined up the first thing that I noticed about this place was the many beautiful tarts and cakes inside the glass casing at the beginning of the store. Moving towards the middle of the line I was able to see the selection of baguettes, quiches, pastries, croissants, and other bread items. Despite the beautiful cakes that I noticed at the beginning I resisted my sweet tooth and decided to try the the almond croissant and chocolate almond croissant for breakfast. Overall the croissants were okay. Between the two I liked the plain almond croissant mores than the chocolate almond croissant because there was more almond paste inside the plain one which brought out the almond flavour. Tastes good but it was served cold and the texture was somewhat hard and rough so would be better if served hot and fresh out the oven. There is a kitchen area at the back where you can see the staff preparing and baking the pastries as well. Seats are limited and line ups can be long, so it can be difficult to find a seat. If you have a seat and are done eating you may feel bad and will try to share the table with the many other customers looking for seats. Wouldn't say it is the best but a good place overall to grab some breakfast
