  • I have a '95 pickup that is new to me, so I'm fixing it up a bit. I needed to get my bench seat reupholstered, so I went and got a couple quotes. I picked Jose at ABC Discount Upholstery, and I couldn't be happier. Jose's quote was $25 more, but I went with them because they were much more flexible on color. The other shop I went to wanted to copy exactly what was already there even though I had put in new carpet and wanted it to match the seat. Jose estimated one day of work, but it ended up being a day and a half. The foam was really damaged, and some of the springs were loose. The extra half a day was well worth it. The seat is like new. The material and stitching is perfect as far as I can tell. It looks completely professional, and it is very, very comfortable. I drove around a lot this weekend to check out the new seat. I had to adjust my mirrors because I sit higher in the cab now. Despite the extra time and work that went into the seat, Jose didn't charge me more than the original quote. I would absolutely recommend ABC Discount Upholstery to anyone who needs something recovered. I got to walk through their shop, and I was impressed with their set up. They somehow managed to make it all look fairly organized too. I'll post some pictures as well. Unfortunately, I didn't take a great 'before' picture, but you can still tell what kind of shape the seat was in.
