Hilton is my preferred hotel brand. Unfortunately this one was an awful choice. I have stayed at the one near the convention center which is a much better choice in my opinion. After check-in we went up to the room to find that the air was not on and there was a weird smell in the room. Maybe 5 or 10 minutes later, someone opened the door but quickly closed it when she realized we were in the room. What upset me about this is that she didn't even knock. When we asked her what she was doing, she said something about extra towels. She did not have any towels in her hand! The receptionist at checkout did not seem to care much about my complaint even when I asked to speak to a manager. Finally, the location is really far from the strip and at times I felt unsafe walking back to the hotel. One night I saw and smelled a homeless person on the actual property as there is a long pathway leading to the main entrance. Avoid this place if you can.
