I used this spa because of a Living Social deal as well. I wanted to give my skin a deep clean.I have had facials, dermaplanes, and microderms in the past. Hence, I am no stranger to skin care. I arrived early and was pleasantly greeted. The experience quickly went south when she asked about my skin and I told her that I am outdoors quite a bit and use sunscreen. She begins to harp/lecture me about sunscreen is not enough. I think she overstepped her boundaries. It would have been fine if she only touched on what to prepare for after the chemical peel. However, she ranted about my lifestyle and being outdoors. As a customer/client, I felt she treated me like a child. I have spent thousands of dollars to receive a graduate degree....and for me to be treated like a child...I was appalled. I quickly addressed my issue with her...she became argumentative.
If I provided services to a client (from a business perspective)...I would not want to engage in any type of behavior that diminishes a client in any capacity!
If you are reading this review and are in the process of evaluating if you would like to utilize soul touch spa (Marci) I recommend the following: If you want to be treated like a child...you have found the right place. If you want to be treated like a professional in a courteous manner I suggest you search out other alternatives to skin care. Marci is not the right fit for you!
