  • We will never rent from Advantage again. I wish I had read the reviews. I reserved this car through Travelocity and thought since it was thru them that Advantage must be a reputable company. Wrong! Arrived at the airport to be told they had NO cars for at least 1 - 2 hours. And there was a group of people in the same situation. I find this inexcusable when a reservation has been made weeks prior. They obviously know the reservations they have and the lack of cars. Why can't they communicate so we could have made another reservation at a fair price? As it was, we had to go to another rental agency and were at their mercy for the rate charged. It cost us over $60 more than our reserved rate with Advantage. Avis told us Advantage is too small a company and doesn't have the cars to fulfill their reservations. From reading the Yelp reviews that sounds correct. Why Travelocity would do business with a company like this, I don't know. Yup - cheapest rate and left standed with no car and missed our appointment. We will pay more next time with a reputable company. Called Travelocity too. All they could offer was "sorry."
