After reading all the rave reviews my friend and I decided to give this place a try. It was on the later side of lunch so the restaurant was a little empty but the staff were very attentive and friendly. The decor is trendy, I loved all the crystal chandeliers hanging everywhere, but still very dark. I wish they'd let some of that strong Arizona sunshine in. We both ordered tacos and while they were beautifully presented, neither of us were blown away by the flavors. The portions were smallish and not very hearty. I thought mine could have used more spice and salsa, and I almost never say that. This restaurant errs on the side of fancy Mexican food and seems more for a nice dinner or night out but definitely not for lunch.
