  • This is a store owned by Harris Teeter and its name comes from the address of the first Harris Teeter store but this is not your ordinary grocery store. This is a store specializing in wine and beer mostly and party supplies. The wine selection is amazing and comparable to a Total Wine. There is a good refrigerated beer selection but their room temperature selection is not as good. They also sell artisan cheeses and something that surprised me - beer making supplies. There is more to this store that I did not explore. I noticed a frozen section but I did not visit that section. They have a bar if you care to sip a glass of wine or beer and there's another bar where they do tastings. Check the calendar for their schedule of wine and beer tastings. The staff here was very helpful and mentioned that also have special events here sometimes where they have food available. My only disappointment is that there are only two of these stores and they are both out of the way for me. I could actually see these stores doing well within 485 and giving stores like Total Wine a run for their money.
