  • I think Culinary Dropout deserves 4 stars because of the food. Every time I have been there the food as been exceptional! The drinks are also very good and creative; you won't see these drinks anywhere else! There's a few things I dislike about this place. They are ALWAYS crazy busy so if you don't want to wait 50 minutes for a table you should come during "off hours." The music is very loud and I have to yell at my server to place an order, its also hard to have a conversation with anyone. Finally, every time I have come here, it takes a surprisingly long time for any of the hosts at the host stand to acknowledge me. There are 2 hosts there and they will always be talking amongst themselves or staring off pretending to be doing something. Meanwhile, a line of people forms at the stand. I don't know why but it usually takes 5-10 minutes for the host to say hi or "we will be right with you" to me, and that bothers me. All in all, I return for the food but I'm not a fan of the atmosphere.
