  • Economy Car Rental, aka Jet Car Rental, is awful. They provide no preliminary info on how to get to their office from the Toronto airport. They take over 20 minutes to pick you up. The cars are filthy: I took 10 minutes to clean the windshield, the steering wheel, the dash. The windshield washer fluid lasted 4 uses only. The gas tank was not full which I was not told to return it at the same level... and so they refused to give me a rebate after I returned it full. The worst mislead was how they managed to charge me extra insurance at return when I was assured at pickup that I would not have extra insurance charges. The agents act perfectly like they run the business purposely to rip one-time customers off. Very frustrating to have a company mislead you and then charge you more than the good well-known reputable car rental companies. Stay away from these guys.
