  • This is the worst giant eagle ever. I stop there occasionally because am usually in the neighborhood. I have never waited less than 10 minutes in a checkout line... usually much longer. Very few lines with checkers are available, even if the lines wind down the aisles. The checkers are very slow, unpleasant, and don't seem awfully bright. The food is pricey, meat and produce quality poor for the price. And do not! I repeat do not! Use the restroom. Example: last year I asked for 1/3 of a pound of shrimp. The woman behind the counter gave me 1/2 pound. When I told her that was too much, that wasn't what I wanted, she yelled at me and said that three was bigger than two....Did I want more.
