| - Came for the first time during restaurant week. Impressively, it stayed open during the ice storm when many other restaurants shut down.
I ordered the Arrancini (first course), Jumbo Scallops and Short Rib (entree), and the Sticky Toffee Pudding (dessert). The Arrancini and dessert were both good but the scallops and short rib really stood out the most. The portions were quite generous, especially by restaurant week standards.
Our server was fast, attentive, and friendly, but he struggled with the cocktails a bit. He mixed up our garnishes and forgot to put the bleu cheese-stuffed olives in my friend's martini. This may not sound like a big deal, but when you're paying $10+ per drink, you don't want to have a cinnamon rim instead of a cucumber.
Despite the cocktail issue, we had a very pleasant experience overall. If you're looking for a good meal uptown for restaurant week, definitely give Blue a try.
