| - I attended an outdoor wedding and an indoor reception here today.
The facility is OK. Just OK.
The parking lot had very recently been covered in sealant and the very strong odor of tar wafted through the ceremony. Ugh. Why would you do that just before you expected guests?
Following the recessional, the outdoor chairs were being folded up and stacked almost the second people rose from their seats. Clang slam crash bang.
The food, elementary dishes, chicken parmesan and stuffed shells, was embarrassingly bad.
The bar, tip jar and all, is monitored by cctv with a large display screen in full view. Why?
The staff, clearly unhappy to be there, literally scowled the entire evening.
After the meal, during the dancing, a staff member drug an industrial trash can around the dining room, bumping into the backs of chairs, clearing remains from the tables, followed by the owner who blew out the candles in the centerpieces - while people were still seated and chatting. Just bad form.
The staff and owners seemed to be tolerating our presence and eager to have the event over. It was remarkably awkward and uncomfortable, bordering on rude.
If your expectations include decent food and gracious service book your function elsewhere.
