rev:text	I'm giving Paymon's 2 stars for the ambiance, great prices, the nice waitress, and delicious Cosmo I had. I would have given it 1 star if it weren't for these factors. We waited at the entrance for a good 5 minutes but no sign of a waitress or hostess. Awkward. Once we were seated, I was pretty pumped to give this place a go. The decor is great and it was obvious that people were having a great time in the hookah lounge. The food was probably the worst I've had in the area, and I don't say that lightly. We ordered the appetizer sampler, which was lackluster. I'd rather buy hummus from the store. The fries were pretty gross - couldn't place the spices they used, but definitely not my taste. The falafel was alright but I've had better. My friend ordered the kabob sampler. The lamb was OK, nothing to get excited about. I didn't care for the chicken much either. Something about it didn't sit right with me. The deal breaker was the ground beef kabobs. My only description of them wouldn't be appropriate, so let's just call them straight up nasty. They were warm and cooked on the outside but the insides were cold and total mush. I have never sent back food in my life, but I can only imagine the sickness that would result if I didn't. When they came back, they were practically burnt on the outside (as kabobs should be I guess?) and the insides were slightly more solid. I've had kabobs at plenty of other places in town and in my travels, but I never have experienced this. SUCH a disappointment... It was really gross. The rice was ok but tasted really greasy, and the stewed tomato thing on the side tasted slightly of soap. The waitress offered to send it back a 2nd time but at that point I was over it and the thought of eating more turned my guts. I didn't ask for it to be removed from the bill, but they did it anyway, which was nice. I'd go back to try out their hookah lounge and have drinks, but I'll be avoiding the food. I hope it was just a fluke but not willing to dump money down the drain again.
