| - I have lived in Las Vegas for about 15 years, and have tried many casino buffets in that time. The Bacchanal Buffet is a higher priced buffet (it cost me about $40 per person for lunch). Therefore, I need to hold it to a higher standard than those buffets that may cost half as much. The food is overall tasty, and they do have a big selection. But I found most hot dishes to be only luke warm at best. I also found the quality, and selection, of deserts to be underwhelming. The decor is very nice (for a buffet), but they make a mistake that unfortunately many resturants make today, which is...normally, when people dine, they want to eat and chat with the other diners at their table...but the Bacchanal management thinks it's better to blast club music so loud you can barely hear yourself think. The bottom line is, there are many buffets in Vegas that are as good (or better), at much cheaper prices.
