| - Change the name. This company should change its name to HONEST APPLIANCE maintenance and repair. We have a 20 plus year old Whirlpool washing machine that worked great for a long time. It fits perfectly in the space we have it in and when we saw a leak we figured it was time to buy a new one. I was devastated to learn my only option was a compact washing machine due to the new machines bigger sizes. We live in a condo so there aren't a lot of places to put a new 27" deep machine without engaging in some remodeling. We were advised to have our machine checked out by a repair place and were recommended to Frost Appliance. Now given the age of our machine and the option of having to face the expense of buying a compact washing machine ($1200 or more) plus remodeling the space ( who knows) we were willing to repair the machine and expected a pretty hefty repair bill, after all, the machine was here before we bought the place 16 years ago.
We made our appointment and the technician, Landon came out to assess our situation. For such a young man ( I'm old) I was very impressed with his knowledge on appliances! I was very happy to hear that we actually owned an excellent machine. He did a thorough search and ran a cycle, found our agitator wasn't working, yet he said all seals were intact and there was no leak from the machine. He ordered the parts needs to fix the agitator, gave us his thoughts about the water "leak" we thought we had, put the machine back, cleaned everything up and said they would call us when the parts were in. A few days later Chad came. Our machine was fixed, in an area I didn't even know was broken, and the bill was so much less than we expected. These guys were fast, knowledgeable, professional and clean. I am happy to recommend them to anyone needing an appliance repair and very happy we have an honest company to work within the future.
