  • I finally found a great salon in Champaign! I've been to John at Ippatsu 4 times, twice for color and cut, and twice for just a cut. He is a genius! The first time I went I was taking a huge leap of faith because I went from long hair to a pixie cut. John did a great consultation, asked lots of questions, made sure he knew exactly what I wanted, then he totally delivered! The color was beautiful and the cut was so flattering. John is really great to his clients. One time I went in I just needed a quick trim. He did it in about 20 minutes and didn't charge me a penny. Wow! Who does that?! It was really nice of him. I just came back from my last visit and love my new look, I'm getting compliments let and right :) The salon itself is great too, it's cozy and comfortable. They have great tea too!
