  • If I could give a zero I would. My father passed on 7/7/15. My family and myself went down to the RJ to have an obituary done. The lady doing the obituaries was so unprofessional, Sue is her name. The first question out of her mouth was "who's paying for this?" Not a hello, or I'm sorry for your loss, to top it off she kept asking my mother to repeat herself in a nasty tone because my mother was crying. She was rude and lacked basic human appropriate responses for grieving individuals. She also questioned my fathers service to this country. She googled the war he served in and said, "the war started in 1950." Your point would be what lady who types obituaries for a living? For her to question my fathers service and integrity as a person who served the country she so freely lives in is unacceptable. That would be strike 24 against her in the painfully agonizing 20 minutes we were there writing the obituary of my father. If it wasn't for my grieving mother sitting next to me I would've loved to rip her a new asshole. I Did not want to upset my mom anymore then she was already. There was more inappropriate responses from her, but typing this is making me upset again. I did complain to her manager and it was taken care of per her manager. Hey RJ, if you have someone working with those who are grieving the loss of a loved one put a human being in the position who has empathy and compassion for others, not a nasty woman who rolls her eyes, sighs every 2 minutes and simply hates her job. Possibly consider putting her in politics, she has the personality/customer service skills of a rock, seems appropriate.
