| - Where do I start... I was recommended to Smith Derma by my primary Dr. (who is wonderful) so I was hopeful. I wish I had read some of these review BEFORE I went to see him... Super UNPROFESSIONAL!!!
When I called to make my appointment it was Aug, I was told that there were no appointments available until October! Come on guys, if you are SO busy... why not hire some more help? Eager to have relief, I kept calling regularly and was able to squeeze into a cancellation slot the first week of Sep. The hours at this office awful as well!!!
When I arrived at my appointment, the young women at the front desk did not look well. She was coughing up a storm and at one point she finally walked away to cough it all up in the restroom. (Which I could still heard loud and clear from the front desk) Sorry, but that is kind of nasty.
After waiting about 10 mins, I finally was back to see Dr. Smith. I was actually super excited to speak with him and possibly get some solutions.
Unfortunately, my appointment was over in about 5 mins. Dr. Smith spent about 2 mins looking/touching my arms, talking about himself, and when I tried to explain the issues I was having he arrogantly nodded with a reply "sure". Leaving me extremely frustrated and quite frankly blown away by his dismissiveness!
He then prescribed me three different types of medication. None of which he or his staff explained to me. I was so angry none of that mattered to me at that point. I thought, well, my pharmacist can explain these meds to me and if I need to, I can give them a call.
NOPE...
Two of the meds he prescribed are not covered by my insurance and my pharmacist is having a terrible time getting Smith Derma to return their calls. Good luck trying to call their office to get ANY information regarding your meds. You are sent through a awful looping voicemail message that leads you to NOWHERE - NO ONE picks up or returns your calls. IS THIS PLACE A JOKE?
He is a rude, arrogant, unprofessional, money hungry criminal in my opinion.
You will regret going here! Seek out an actual dermatologist.
GOOD LUCK!
