I was in the market for a new car, so I went to gather information and talk to someone. I wandered around the new Hondas at Zimbrick reading the window stickers and peering inside the cars for almost 15 minutes around 1pm during the week; I found it odd that there was no one around.
I walked in and looked around for anyone to help me--no one inside either--no receptionist, so I walked back outside.
Finally I caught sight of a sales person holding his lunch bag walking across the parking lot and I asked him to point out the new CRVs as I was interested. He pointed and walked away; didn't even ask if I needed help. I thought this was extremely strange, so I left the lot.
Went to the Used Zimbrick lot down the road and test drove a car; super dirty inside and when I mentioned it was dirty the sales guy said he didn't think so. I'm not ok with crumbs everywhere in any car I'm buying; new or used. It was like a box of cookies exploded and the crumbs were brushed into the crevices of the center console. yuck.
Overall I do have to wonder if it was because I am a younger female that I was ignored and condescended...glad there is a competitor in the area.
I then went to Wilde Honda and the rest is history.
By the way, Wilde was full of helpful people.
Can't wait until Wilde has a location on the West side!!
Very strange dealership that Zimbrick.
