| - Actually Hash House should deserve four stars but I need to take out one star for the wait and service.
Our group of eight people came there on Sunday at 3:00pm. The restaurant was quite empty that time and there wasn't even a line, but we still waited twenty-five minutes for a table. After we seated, we waited another ten minutes for a waiter. If the restaurant was busy, I would expect the slow service and long wait....but it wasn't!
Before we ordered, we all knew the enormous portion of the dish. But since everyone was starving like crazy, we still ordered our own food.
I have ordered:
Grilled portobello mushroom - The portion of the sandwich was OK, not huge as other dish. The sandwich had a big piece of mushroom with roasted red peppers, basil pesto, goat cheese on wheat bun . The taste was ok...noting special. I got the salad on the side with cucumber dressing, It was decent salad.
I also got the kiwi watermelon lemonade. I really like it, very refreshing.
My friend got the Fried Chicken and Waffles. It was huge. The chicken was a little bit dry but still good. The waffle was a little soggy.
The food was on the pricey side but based on the portion, it was ok. I highly recommend to share the dish with your friend...........
