I stumbled upon this place while trying to navigate Waunakee's torn-up Main Street. I'm familiar with thrift stores but haven't been inside a St. Vinny's in a lot of years. This place was like most of them.
The majority of the clothes were for women and there were housewares on the other side of the store. I was a little surprised at the pricing structure, since it was not consistent. I sat items priced at $4.18, for example. Stuff seemed to be priced based on what it was worth new, which I don't love. Savers started doing that, too.
There were a handful of people working, and they all seemed pretty happy to be there (I've witnessed the opposite, it can be a real bummer) and the young man at the register was nice.
The changing rooms were pretty big and had full-length mirrors, which I appreciated, but I swear they were all skinny mirrors.
