  • I made arrangement to have a facial, derma planning and lamprobe done, made the appointment out 12 days in advanced. First there was a problem with the appoint. On day of appointment I called in the morning to make sure I still had an appointment at 11:00 am. Low and behold. No appointment, so then they got me in at 3:00pm. The work that Casey did was wonderful, but I wasn't thrilled after telling them what I was wanting, that after only having lamprobe work, that I wasn't getting a mini facial either. I was also told to not wash my face either after having the lamprobe work done. I still had sunscreen and make-up on. If you're not going to cleanse the skin at least prior doing the lamprobe work I would think that you would at least tell folks to come in with a cleansed face. Who does this? Rather sloppy booking procedures and work if you ask me. This is coming from a prior spa owner. Then I was told over the phone a week later what I could or couldn't dossier the lamprobe. Why don't they give you a sheet of paper explaining to you what you can and can't do after lamprobe work. It would make the experience a little more professional. All and all I thought long and hard before going back. I'll go where people listen to me. She told me she couldn't do a facial after I addressed this all with her and after the work was already done. If that were the case I would have gone some where else that would. I also don't dig the whole join the club to get cheaper pricing. Why would I do that? If the work is inferior, then I just joined a club I have no intentions of utilizing again, so I'd be out the money. Then there's no incentive for the facialist to do her best... I don't like half ass service and I should have just cancelled all together, when the appointment wasn't even in the books. I found that 15 min of lamprobe work for $90 rather expensive too. I got so many feelings about this place. They aren't up front about their services. Karlas spa in North Scottsdale does some of these services fraction of cost and she knows her stuff!
