  • I don't think I'll go back here. I went in with shellac (gel) polish on and requested a gel manicure. Instead of soaking off the old polish she filed it off. They aren't acrylics! My nails are thin to begin with and I need to keep all the layers I can. Needless to say, I'm lacking a few now. She also didn't soak the nails and then give a true manicure. Everything was done with that drill. Cuticles need pushed back? No biggie, we'll just drill them out of the way. Ouch! Then she took an eternity to paint them. She had to spend a lot of time touching up and cleaning up where she got polish on my skin. I also wanted an ombre with glitter. I showed her two I couldn't decide between and she said "oh, I'll give you white diamonds". Those white diamonds aren't visible on this shade of polish so I don't have the desired look I was going for. The hours are certainly convenient but I think I'll keep searching elsewhere for a nail salon.
