  • As others have stated, we were surprised when we had to take the second shuttle to the Fox rental center. The staff was friendly. There were not that many people renting at the time, so considering that, the wait was a little much. The attendant looked at what car we were getting (Dodge Charger or similar) and seemed a bit worried. After waiting for some time, we got what he called an 'upgrade' to a Ford Mustang. Not a bad car, but I didn't really think it was an upgrade. The bad thing: I opted to have the pre-paid fuel so that I wouldn't have to worry about filling up before dropping off. In past rentals elsewhere, I wish I had used this method as it was a pain to fill up. The clerk told me that it would end up at about $2.17 a gallon, slightly even better than what was found at local filling stations. The added charge was something like $42. I asked, "So this thing has a 20 gallon tank?" I got some non-commital response. But I figured it was possible. In the car, the gauge was on 'F', but barely. Using the "miles left until empty"reading and once I filled up the tank myself, I found that it was really a few gallons less than full at pickup. Lesson learned. I'm not much of a complainer to companies directly. I should have checked Yelp before booking. I just move my business. Next time I will stick with one of the more common companies and pay a little more.
