After living nearly seven years in Toronto, I stopped by Toronto General Hospital's Emergency Room in mid June 2017 to seek help with pain I was enduring. Located in one of Toronto's prime locations, I was surprised how quickly I was treated for care when compared to St. Michael's ER room. I was in around 5:00pm and out 7:00pm (if it was St. Michael's I would expect to be there until midnight). Nurses were extremely nice and caring. Triage nurse who helped checked me in was a doll and reception was really efficient and frirendly.
Their in-house pharmacy is extremely helpful and if you're on public assistance such as OntarioWorks or ODSP, they will waive your co-pay.
Highly recommended! Top notch quality healthcare.
