I called the appliance repair service because I was hearing a loud sound coming from dryer. So the service person came to my house on time and was very polite. So I knew, I there would be a service charge just for coming out to look at the machine. So, the guy pulled out the drum and told me that no part were needed but the drum needed to greased .
The service person wanted to charge me about 200.00 to grease the drum.
I told him that I felt the charges were to high. Decline and proceeded to May the 79.00 service charge.
I paid in cash and wasn't given my change back
And than as he drives off I notice that the quote on the receipt was way lower than the amount he told me
So- I think Sears is a big company I will call customer service- I call the local number and I called the corporate number
This was the worst customer service group of people I have ever dealt with in my entire life.
I was finally told that my complaint had been filed and I had to call back the following week .. Because they didn't have the contractors notes
Needless to say I will not ever buy another appliance from this co .or step in one of there deteriorating stores .
