  • I go to SAS Fabric about once every 3 months, all but 1 time I have found exactly what I am looking for. The 1st time I went was to purchase material to make reusable lunch totes as a party gift for my daughters b-day party. They had exactly the fabric that I was looking for and I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of fabric that was there. The other reviews are correct, this store is not a quick shop. You need to come in here with lots of time on your hands. Searching through material can be daunting, but if you keep an eye out you'll find what you need. I have noticed that everything is sectioned off pretty well. Girls pink material is in one spot, team logo material is together, etc. It is also sectioned by types of fabrics. I have not seen any great quality fabric that I would really make any clothes for myself out of, it all seems to be fairly cheap. But, it is the perfect place to come if you are into quilting or making baby blankets. I am going this weekend to look for Disney fabric to make my daughter a summer dress and matching bandanna for when we go to Disneyland in May. I'm sure I'll find a selection of material that will suite that purpose. All in all, this is a great store. But, you have to be able to look past the warehouse feel. I haven't found the service to be necessarily rude, but I have noticed a bit of a communication barrier, as I believe that many of the workers haven't grasped the American language.
