  • August 31, 2016: Had to take my daughters 2000 Toyota 4Runner back to Brakes Plus due to leaking axle seals that had been replaced back in January 2016. Store manager Mark Purcell got our truck up on the rack and did an inspection. He determined the seals had failed and needed to be replaced. No easy task as the rear axle shaft has to be removed and new bearings pressed into place by a machine. In addition, the both sides/rear brake pads were replaced and the differential was refilled with fresh fluid. Mark apologized for the inconvenience of having to come back and having to leave the truck with him for a day and a half to complete the work. Mark telephoned me twice with updates as to what was being done as a courtesy when he had the truck. When he called me to come pick it up he didn't charge anything, but rather apologized again and went over everything that had been done. His concern for safety and professional work by his shop is paramount. He asked that we please return in about 30 days to have the work reinspected to ensure of no more problems. Mark was appreciative of my business and said they'll do whatever needs to be done to make it right. He is truly honest and professional all the way and I recommend their business. Kudos sir!
