  • We went to Luma for our anniversary. We sat outside, on their covered porch behind the restaurant. It was a cozy spot, made slightly less cozy by the birthday party table of 15 nearby. But my guess is that on any other night, it's a cute, quiet, cozy patio to eat on. I wasn't incredibly hungry, so I decided on a salad and an appetizer rather than an entree. The salad was good, nothing crazy special. My appetizer was fried calamari. And it just wasn't very good. It needed salt and overall just lacked flavor. My husband had a spinach Alfredo dish with filet medallions. My husband loves everything spicy, and asked if they could make the dish spicy, which they happily did. It was delicious! I stole a filet medallion and wanted to steal more, as it was cooked nicely! He said they spiced up the dish well and overall it was a delicious dish. I would have to come back to get an entree for myself next time for a more well rounded review, but based on my husband's stellar pasta and steak dish, it's worth coming back again!
