| - Long waits, inefficient staff, does not listen to or respect patient's wishes.
My husband and I visited this office twice. Our initial visit was in April 2016. No big deal, had to do all of the 'first time patient' paperwork and x-rays. There were a lot of x-rays. Staff was friendly and the office was clean, but abnormally cold. They were kind enough to put a cover on me, I was so cold. We went back in December 2016 for a second cleaning. We filled out paperwork updating our contact information, since we had moved, as we waited. I was called back several minutes before my husband was called back, both to have x-rays done. He tried to refuse x-rays for both of us knowing our insurance did not cover them during this visit. They insisted and proceeded to x-ray our teeth. The dentist came over to check our x-rays and then we waited to be taken to the hygienist to have our teeth cleaned. He waited at least 30 minutes (no exaggeration) and I waited at least 40 minutes before we were taken to the hygienist's chair, all the while freezing because the office is so cold. His teeth were cleaned first, and the assistant was friendly, but not very thorough in the floss. I sat in a chair beside him (there was a wall between the two spaces for privacy) and watched tv until the hygienist finished with him and came to clean my teeth. She changed the channel to something she wanted to watch. I didn't say anything because I really did not care, I was just annoyed and cold and wanted to be finished. My husband did not have a long wait between the time this hygienist cleaned his teeth until the actual hygienist (Carla) came over to check and do her thing. Not me, though. I waited over 20 minutes for Carla to come check my out. I was so cold, my fingernails were purple! When I was finally finished, the whole experience took about 2 hours), I checked out of the office and they told me I was all set.
Fast forward to August 2017. I received a call about an unsettled payment due. It was a courtesy call to obtain updated mailing information before they sent my bill to collections. (WHAT?!?!) Apparently they had tried to send the bill to our old address, despite having changed the address with them over 8 months prior. My husband was FURIOUS!
Bottom line, this office does not appear to run efficiently or listen to their patients. We will never return to this dental group or any of its affiliate locations.
