This my second time in 4 years that I've used Valley pain center. Ive been a massage therapist for over twenty years, and it's taken a toll on my elbows. 4 years ago I went though a PRP for my right elbow. 3 plasma injections. Once ever other week for 6 weeks.
Orthopedics surgeons wanted to do the Tommy John surgery on my elbow for the torn tendons. It would have taken me out of the massage business for about a year. The PRP has allowed me to keep working and only taking minimal time off after the injections. I have to admit the PRP's are pretty painful. Like a cortisone shot times 10. So I have to say I was quite excited to learn that you can do them under sedation now. It really helps take the edge off. I got a good 3 years of 90% relief from the last round. Mine you, I was still working and abusing my arms.
So when it can time to do it again. ( both arms this time) I didn't hesitate to call Valley Pain Center again. I was very pleased that Dr Church was still there. He spends a good about of time and answered all my question. I would highly recommend him.
The staff was great too. I didn't bruise at all from any of the IV catheters for the sedation. They are very friendly too. You will need a driver if you choose sedation. But take it from me. It's worth it!!!
If you are considering a PRP or any other injections. I would recommend Valley Pain Center, and Dr Church.
