  • I'm with Adam on this one.. I've been here 4 times, and I do have to say, the products and market are fabulous. WITH THE EXCEPTION OF THE STAFF!! Every time we've been the people who are checking us out are unfriendly + depressed. We actually bought compost this last time and got major attitudes. When I backed up the car and said I needed just one bag, the guy got all huffy and puffy. Not knowing what the problem was I said "I'm sorry, is that ok? Is there a minimum?" NO ANSWER!!! It was so awkward I felt like I was in the twilight zone. He finally mumbled "twelve" so I paid him my $12 and left. I was going to buy my plants there but after that experience I decided, THAT'S IT with this place, went to Baker's Nursery on 40th street where they are incredibly friendly, helpful, and happy for the business. It's a shame because they do have incredible products. *I also see a lot of people saying nice things about the owner - never met him, just employees.
